Paso Robles, California

The Central Coast of California is considered by some to be one of the most stunning places in the world.  The spectacular coastlines offer craggy shores peppered with incredible sandy beaches amid the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean.  Inland, the mountains of the Coastal Range run out to rolling hills of oak trees, vineyards and ranches, while offering yet other sights not often matched in the world.

Nestled among all this splendor are rows and rows of vines producing huge amounts of world class wines.  The hamlet of El Paso de Robles (The Pass of the Oaks) sits in the northern region of San Luis Obispo County as the center of Paso Robles American Viticultural Area (AVA).  An extreme diurnal, where high and low temperatures often are in excess of 50 degree difference from day to night, makes for an ideal climate to grow grapes such as zinfandel, a trademark wine of the region.  Vineyards in the Paso Robles area have increased ten-fold over the past two decades with 26,000 acres of vineyards.

The skillfully constructed oak barrels that hold this liquid gold have a lifespan, then afterwards are often left to rot or maybe reused as planters.  That’s where we come in.  We take these wonderfully aged barrels, each with their own unique marks, and create a reusable art form for all to enjoy.

So whether you come to Paso Robles and the Central Coast for fun, pleasure, relaxation or otherwise, there is a way for you to forever remember our cozy little part of the world – having your own beautifully renovated wine barrel from Paso Wine Barrels.

It's always a beautiful day in the neighborhood of
Paso Robles.
